When homeowners living south of Bogalusa returned home, they discovered their home had been burglarized. A television and other electronic equipment were missing. The fingerprints matched those of Blackwell who was located and arrested on September 26.
During the process of being arrested, Blackwell ran from detectives. He was chased and caught, then transported to jail.
Sheriff Randy Seal commented. “Chased, caught, cuffed. That says it all. Congratulations to our officers for another job well done.”
