THREE MISSISSIPPI RESIDENTS CAUGHT AND CHARGED WITH

BURGLARIES IN WASHINGTON PARISH

Three Tylertown, Mississippi, residents are in the Washington Parish Jail facing charges of burglaries committed in the parish.  On June 2 and June 6, Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives investigated residential burglaries which occurred on J. Warren Road and Highway 38 in the Hackley community.

As the investigation progressed, detectives were assisted by parish residents who were able to give vehicle and person descriptions of the suspects.  That information led to the arrests of Fredrick Brown, 29, a resident of Magee Hill Road in Tylertown, Alexzandra Weary Brown, 24, a resident of Kirkland Road in Tylertown, and Calvin B. Guy, 27, a resident of Knoxo Road in Tylertown.  When the trio was arrested, they had pictures of the stolen property and evidence of their criminal activity on their cell phones.

Fredrick Brown remains in jail with bond set at $7,500.  He is charged with:

  • Possession of Stolen Property
  • Simple Burglary
  • Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling

  • Criminal Damage to Property

Alexzandra Weary Brown remains in jail with bond set at $5,000.  She is charged with:

  • Criminal Damage to Property
  • Two counts of Failure to Appear

Sheriff Randy Seal commented, “Each time a thief is arrested and jailed is a victory for Washington Parish homeowners who should not have to put up with outlaws breaking into their houses.  I appreciate the hard work of our detectives to solve these burglaries and am grateful to community witnesses who provided information.  If anyone has information about any crime which was committed in Washington Parish, I encourage them to call our office at (985) 839-3434 and report what they know.  Their names will not be used and any information is helpful in solving crimes.”
