In recent burglaries, the public has been very helpful in identifying burglars whose images were captured on surveillance video. Once again, Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal asks the public to view pictures from surveillance video of a parish business.
On May 1, a business on Highway 25 in western Washington Parish was burglarized at approximately 1:35 a.m. The store video system captured images of the suspect and it appears to be a male wearing a red shirt with vertical stripes on the front of the shirt. He was wearing dark knee length short pants with a vertical stripe on the outside of each leg. He wore light colored socks and red shoes. A red bandanna covered his face and he wore a light colored boonie style hat.
If anyone has any information about this burglary or can identify the burglar, they are asked to call investigators at (985) 661-2021.
Sheriff Randy Seal commented. “Although the images are grainy, they might provide enough detail for someone to recognize the burglar. Perhaps the distinctive clothing he wore will alert someone to who he might be. The public has been great to respond to us in such situations and we are always grateful for any information. Please don’t hesitate to call us if you know anything.”
