On December 12, the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office investigative division received a tip that a theft had occurred at the Pub Lounge in Bogalusa. The theft had not been reported by the business owner, but he admitted that he had noticed some money missing.
Detectives questioned Wanda Lynn Zagorski, 24, a resident of Picayune, who admitted to burglarizing the business and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash. Zagorski was arrested and placed in the Washington Parish Jail. She remains in jail with bond set at $5,000.
“This is another example of the excellent work of our investigative division,” stated Sheriff Randy Seal. “This theft was solved quickly, even before the business owner had reported the burglary. Captain Sorrell and the detectives who work under her are to be commended for their prompt action in this matter.”
